Voice Memo — just talk, no keyboard

Memol's Voice Memo turns what you say into text on the spot. Capture notes hands-free while walking or commuting. How to use it, AI cleanup, supported devices, and transcription limits.

The biggest enemy of a note is "I'll write it down later" — and then forgetting. Voice Memo lets you capture a note the moment it occurs to you, just by talking. No keyboard required.

How to use it

  1. Open the + (create) menu
  2. Choose "Voice memo"
  3. Tap "Tap the mic to speak" → allow microphone access
  4. Speak, and your words become text on the spot
  5. Tap "Stop" when you're done

Two ways to save:

  • Save as-is — keep exactly what you said
  • Clean up with AI & save — AI fixes punctuation, line breaks, and headings for a readable note (it never changes your wording)

Supported devices

  • Desktop & mobile browsers (Chrome / Safari, etc.)
  • iOS / Android apps

It works the same way in the browser and in the apps.

Transcription limits

Transcription has a monthly limit per plan (the same whether you're on desktop or in the app):

  • Free: 60 minutes / month
  • Standard: 4 hours / month per user
  • Pro: 10 hours / month per user

Limits reset every month. Need more? A higher plan raises the allowance.

Troubleshooting

  • "Microphone is blocked" → In your browser's address bar, open the 🔒 (site info) icon and set Microphone to "Allow", then reload. On macOS, also check System Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone to make sure your browser is enabled.
  • Speak clearly in a quiet place for the best accuracy.
