iOS app — capture and check notes on the go

The Memol iOS app lets you capture notes between meetings and check team knowledge from your phone.

Install (App Store)

Search for "Memol" on the App Store, or download directly:

Free to install. Sign in with the same account you use on the web — your data syncs automatically.

Logging in

Three sign-in options:

• Sign in with Apple — 1-second login via Face ID (recommended)
• Sign in with Google — Use your existing Google account
• Email + password

Already have a web account? Sign in with the same method — data syncs.

Home and folder list

On launch you see the workspace folder list (same as the web sidebar).

• Top: workspace name, search, Ask AI
• Middle: folders and tags
• Bottom: tabs for Notes / Tasks / Settings

Writing a note

1. Tap a folder to open its note list
2. Tap + in the bottom right for a new note
3. Type title and body
4. Tap back — auto-saved

Offline writing works. Syncs when you reconnect.

AI search

Tap Ask AI at the top. Type your question and it searches across notes.

Pro tip: enable iOS dictation (mic icon on the keyboard) for hands-free queries while commuting.

Push notifications

You'll receive pushes when invited to a workspace or assigned a task.

To enable:

• iOS Settings → Notifications → Memol → Allow

For fine-grained control: in-app Settings → Notifications, toggle each event type.

Web vs. iOS feature parity

Detailed config and billing happen on the web. Everyday capture and review happen on iOS.

Troubleshooting

"Error screen flashes briefly on launch"

Sometimes seen right after a Vercel deploy. Force-quit and relaunch. Persists? Contact support.

"Can't log in"

Occasionally with TestFlight builds. Delete and reinstall the app.

"Data not syncing"

Check connection. Pull-to-refresh manually.
